not working
its summer and i feel fatter bloated and well everything else, I dont like the feeling of my fat pouch. I started to ride my bike a little bit over the week, but I am still the same weight and around here its hard to have a workout buddy. I thought about joining the Y but the machines are not that great for $20 a month. all they have is 1 elliptical that doesnt really do the job and treadmills. I started eating lean cruisine for dinner when i dont have anything else healthier to eat. What should I do?
My honest answer? Ditch trying to find a workout partner. You don’t need the Y membership if nothing really works. Guess what? You can use your own body weight to lose weight. You can walk the lbs off! I did! 40 lbs of fat gone from walking. You can get videos and do it at home.
Don’t rely on a workout friend or anyone for that matter. Go do it for you.
Also, what about food? Have you change your eating lifestyle to healthier one? Lots to think about.
Do you drink enough water? Eat fruits and veggies? If you want an idea of how many calories you should eat a day, you can check out either Sparkpeople.com or livestrong.com and sign up. They are free and sparkpeople.com has some good articles that might help get you in the right direction.

I don’t know if you guys have Slimming World where you are, but it’s the only diet I’ve ever found where you really can eat a lot of the foods you like i.e. potatoes, pasta OR lean meat in unlimited amounts plus all the fruit and veg you could want… the weight really does fall off and you never have to feel hungry but obviously sometimes I do get the urge to eat chocolate etc. I lost 3/4/5lbs a week on it and it made me feel so much healthier and in control of my body and my life.
Well, hon, first things first - go get yourself a pretty sparkly something - earrings, paint your toenails, get a manicure - your a pretty girl, so figure out what you like about yourself and get a sparkly for it - in short - start where you are -
like bike riding? great, do it because it makes you feel good - want to join a gym? most hospitals have wellness centers that are very reasonably priced and the equipment is awsome. weight loss takes time - sorry - but keep eating fewer calories and increase your physical activity and you will lose weight. If there were an easier way to do it, beleive me, I’d have found it.
